The Suez Canal Zone will promote the highest standards of health and safety on its facilities and will work with communities both existing and new, to ensure their support. In support of this commitment it will establish an Environment Committee that meets regularly to discuss and agree environmental policy andstrategy. Day to-day responsibility for environmental and social management will rest with a Division of the Suez Canal Zone
